CJR supports religious communities and their leaders in the aftermath of human rights' violations in areas of conflict. We do this by inviting these communities to cooperatively determine what they need in dealing with the challenges regarding justice and reconciliation. This enables us to jointly develop training agenda's. CJR has made a choice to limit its activities to three countries where the ICC is conducting investigations or prosecuting. This means impunity is being addressed, resulting in changed dynamics. This in turn offers real possibilities to further justice and reconciliation. CJR works in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda and Sudan
